I wanted to personally send you an email to tell you a bit more about Institute for the Handicapped and Backward People and an exciting new opportunity we have been given!<br /><br />Institute for the Handicapped and Backward People works in urban of Kolkata to the programes providing education, Inclusion education and Vocational training, Community Based Rehabilitation (CBR), Home Based Training programme and Rehabilitation in the multiple schemes for the Mentally, Visually, Hearing and multiple disabilities and vulnerable children in the both urban and rural areas. Since we were founded in 2001, we have assisted 2000. For example, just last year we helped 300 disabled children, one of them Moumita Naskar by education expenses, sending to the school regularly , she now reading class II, she is orphan with mentally challenge, she intend to make teacher in future.<br /><br />Just recently, we were selected by the GlobalGiving Foundation to participate in its Open Challenge, a fundraising opportunity for nonprofit organizations working around the world.<br /><br />In order to succeed in GlobalGiving’s Open Challenge, Institute for the Handicapped and Backward People must raise $4,000 from 50 donors by 30-09-2010. If we meet this threshold, we will be given a permanent spot on GlobalGiving’s website, where we have the potential to benefit from corporate relationships, exposure to a new donor network, and access to dozens of online fundraising tools.<br /><br />Please help us reach the threshold of $4,000 from 50 donors!
