For New Store Chief, Apple Looks Outside - NYTimes.com
BITS.BLOGS.NYTIMES.COM - On Tuesday, Apple once again looked outside the company to find a leader for its retail stores: John Browett, the former chief executive of Dixons Retail, a British chain of appliance and technology stores. Starting in April, Mr. Browett will be Apple's senior vice president of retail, replacing Ron Johnson, who left the company last year to become the chief executive of J.C. Penney.
